Job summary

Waycross Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support kitchen staff in meal prep and tray service for residents. You will assist with desserts, snacks, and beverage service, ensuring meals are prepared and presented according to dietary guidelines and safety standards.

The role requires basic reading of safety rules and procedural manuals, plus hands-on food service tasks. We offer full-time hours with competitive starting pay and excellent benefits in a non-profit,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Carry trays to patients in dining areas.
• Clean tables in the dining area after meals.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments (sandwiches, etc.).
• Set up tray line and perform tray line service.
• Follow diet orders and NPO diet orders.
