Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey seeks a Patient Navigator to perform field-based case management and insurance enrollment support for abortion care and related services. You will be the main contact for navigation services, helping patients access medical care and financial assistance while coordinating with clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (Preferred).
• 1 year Experience of Patient Navigation.
• Spanish (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through enrollment in public and private insurance programs and explain coverage options.
• Serve as a PE Provider and maintain certification as required.
• Review and verify applications and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist patients with renewals, eligibility updates, and verifications.
• Educate patients about insurance benefits, plan tiers, and out-of-pocket costs.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to remove barriers to care.
