Work Hours
Full‑Time:
- 3 (Three) 10‑hour shifts
- Alternating Sundays and Fridays: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Part‑Time:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 pm – 12:00 am
- Sundays: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Religious and Secular Holidays: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
Position Overview
As a Patient Navigator at Aizer, you will be the first point of contact for patients entering our facility, setting the tone for a positive and seamless healthcare experience. You will play a critical role in ensuring patients are welcomed, informed, and efficiently guided through the check‑in and visit process. This position is ideal for someone personable, highly organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, patient‑facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Patient Reception & Check‑In: Warmly greet all patients upon arrival, create a welcoming first impression, verify identification and appointment details, and update the EMR system.
- Patient Flow Management: Direct patients to appropriate departments, monitor wait times, and communicate with clinical staff to minimize delays.
- Kiosk & Technology Oversight: Manage self‑service kiosks, assist patients, troubleshoot technical issues, and report recurring problems.
- Lobby Experience & Environmental Oversight: Maintain a clean reception area, monitor lobby activity, and restock literature and sanitizing stations.
- Patient Communication: Respond to questions in a professional, clear, and compassionate manner, handle sensitive situations with empathy.
- Provider & Staff Collaboration: Coordinate patient movement, alert providers to arrivals, and promote teamwork throughout the patient journey.
Minimum Qualifications
- Personable: Friendly and approachable with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment and maintain accurate patient records.
- Tech‑Savvy: Comfortable using electronic health systems and managing check‑in kiosks.
- Calm Under Pressure: Maintains composure in a fast‑paced environment and supports patients.
- Team‑Oriented: Works collaboratively to ensure a positive patient experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare, front desk, or customer service role.
