Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring multiple Patient Transporters in the Transportation and Logistics Center. The role supports clinical teams by moving patients and equipment, handling supplies, and performing basic clerical tasks, all under supervision.

Emphasis is on safe patient handling and efficient transport using the Epic system. Required: BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: Lift Team experience, 6 months healthcare with patient contact, 6 months CNA experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist clinical staff and healthcare team within inpatient setting.
• Transport patients and equipment to and from treatment areas.
• Maintain equipment and supply procurement.
• Perform basic clerical functions and respond to requests via the Epic Transport Command Center.
• Support safe patient handling and mobility in collaboration with nursing staff.
