Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Part-Time Day technician to assist with patient mobility on the nursing unit. You will support therapists, help move and transfer patients, and maintain a safe, clean treatment area.

Responsibilities include lifting, transferring, using transfer devices, and mentoring new technician staff, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Assist in lifting, transferring, and ambulating patients.
• Practice safe patient handling and ergonomics.
• Use transfer devices and tools to assist in mobilization.
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform set up and cleanup of treatment area and equipment.
• Mentor and train new technician staff.
