Towne Park is seeking an Internal Patient Transporter to provide exceptional hospitality and assist with patient transport throughout the hospital. You will move patients by wheelchair, stretcher or bed, ensuring safety and comfort with every transport.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and adherence to HIPAA and safety training. Shift is 6:30am-3pm, Monday to Friday, with eligibility for benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ and pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen.
• Wheelchair Safety Training required.
• HIPAA Training required.
• 1–3 months related experience or equivalent education.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with patients, staff and coworkers.
• Explain transport procedures to patients and ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for patient handoffs and transport.
• Escort patients and visitors as needed and provide wayfinding assistance.
• Operate the patient transport tracking system and assist with room presentations.
