Job summary

Qualifications

• None: on the job training provided.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Prior work experience in food services

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves drinks and foods according to patient specifications including therapeutic diet orders, patient safety modifications, and proper patient identification.
• Records patients' Intakes including nutrient-specific intakes accurately per established procedures.
• Provides menu information and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods as assigned.
• Assists with food preparation and operates food production equipment as required to complete tasks.
• Fills and delivers floor stock; stocks and organizes food and supplies in the department.
• Maintains and sanitizes work stations and utensils per food safety guidelines.
• Works with Nutrition Services team and supports cross-training for additional duties.
