Job summary

Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in patient meal preparation, ensuring compliance with therapeutic diet orders and proper patient identification. You will assemble, serve, deliver, and retrieve meals, record intakes, and support stock management across the department.

The role includes sanitation, dish room duties, and collaboration with Nutrition Services to meet patient needs. On-the-job training is provided; ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided for all duties.
• Must complete required education per DNV Bozeman Health policies and registry requirements.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent; ServSafe Certification; prior food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, serve, deliver, and retrieve patient meals according to diet orders.
• Record patient meal intakes and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage floor stock and deliver supplies to all areas.
• Clean and sanitize work stations, dishes, and kitchen utensils.
• Coordinate with Nutrition Services to ensure timely order delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and process improvement activities.
