Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services team member to support patient meal service at Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Stevensville. You will assist with tray assembly, dining room tasks, and delivery, working rounds with the team to ensure meals reach patients accurately and on time.

No prior experience is required; you will receive full training and support to grow your career in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CRT-Work Permit – UNKNOWN Unknown; High School Student Employees required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines and related items (dishes, silverware, etc.).
• Prepares and assembles cold food items (salads, desserts, nourishments) and ensures proper storage, refrigeration and dating.
• Serves food as directed, replenishes items, and cleans stations after use.
• Sets up and operates the cash register and processes payments, balancing cash and deposits.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, loads dishwashers, and maintains sanitary conditions through daily cleaning tasks.
• Delivers and retrieves patient trays, verifies room numbers and patient details for correct delivery.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities such as taking temperatures and recording data.
