Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to support high-quality food service for patients and staff. You will prepare and deliver meal trays, assist with food prep, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety while engaging with patients about dietary needs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of food service or customer service experience and a WA Food Handler Permit within 30 days of hire.

• Food Handler Permit: WA within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meal trays for patients and staff.
• Assist with food preparation and maintain cleanliness and food safety compliance.
• Interact with patients regarding dietary needs and ensure high-quality dining experience.
• Assist with cashiering, serving in retail area, assembling/retrieving patient trays, and other duties as assigned.
