Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Hospitality Associate, Patient Services to support patients and staff by serving meals that meet nutrition and safety standards. You will work with nurses and dining staff to ensure accurate patient name, room, diet, and preferences are respected.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to sanitation procedures. Education is a High School Diploma or GED, and some food service experience is preferred. This is a regular, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age; on-the-job training may be required.
• Ability to interact hospitably with patients and assist with meal selection.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to patients while maintaining sanitation.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure timely meal delivery supporting dietary needs.
• Verify patient name, room number, diet and allergies for accuracy.
• Assist in stocking, receiving orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the dish area.
