Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Food and Nutrition Associate at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. You will prepare and serve meals, stock nutrition carts, and ensure proper temperatures and sanitation for patients, staff, and guests.

The role spans a 20-hour week with shifts around 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Candidates need a High School diploma or 1 year related experience, and good verbal/written English skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assembles food following recipes and guidelines.
• Stocks patient floor kitchenettes with nourishment and supplies.
• Serves food with proper portion control and temperatures.
• Obtains and organizes food and supplies for service within time frames.
• Distributes food and trays according to dietary procedures.
• Keeps trayline refrigerators stocked and replenishes as needed.
• Interacts with patients to assist with menu selection and diet compliance.
