Responsibilities include rounds, tray retrieval, HACCP compliance, and contributing to patient satisfaction through high-quality service. This is a part-time position with weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Takes patient menu selections prior to each meal, complying with dietary restrictions and offering alternates to accommodate allergies and cultural or religious preferences.
• Assembles trays according to patient menu on tray tickets accurately and promptly.
• Interacts with Nursing to ensure patient diet prescriptions are met.
• Completes catering rounds after passing trays to inquire if patient needs anything else.
• Retrieves trays from patient rooms shortly after completing rounds.
• Assists DietTech with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets, have a calorie count ordered, or need nutrition handouts.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction goals by providing high quality service.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies and records quality control data.
