Qualifications

• Minimum education: none.
• Preferred: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in patient-feeding food service establishment.
• Required certifications/licensure: ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food Manager; Manager course or Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties for patient tray preparation, retail sales and catering.
• Assembles patients’ trays.
• Chops, slices and peels food.
• Transports carts to and from the different units.
• Delivers trays and snacks to the patient.
• Maintains safe work environment and adheres to regulations.
