Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks assigned station prior to the start of service and for next meal.
• May retrieve patient meal trays to ensure sanitary, safe and timely service.
• Keeps floor stock according to par levels and records usage.
• Handles food using proper sanitary and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Prepares food using recipes to ensure consistent, safe, nutritious meals.
• Cleans and stores leftovers for reuse within guidelines.
• Packages, labels, and dates hot food items per cook and chill guidelines.
• Cross-trains to support tray line, storeroom, and prep areas.
• Assists in dish room or pot area to support cleaning and sanitation.
• Performs daily and special cleaning duties for a sanitary environment.
