Qualifications

• Knowledge of providing, preparing and serving inpatient meals, supplements, and menu selections.
• Ability to process nutrition orders and tray tickets with accuracy.
• Knowledge of dietary guidelines and patient nutrition parameters.

Responsibilities

• Process nutrition orders and tray tickets with 100% accuracy to ensure up-to-date nutritional needs.
• Enter patient menu selections for restricted diets within nutritional parameters.
• Communicate patient preferences and diet education needs with supervisors, dietitians, and staff.
• Maintain floor stock according to par levels and record usage.
• Cross-reference patient allergies not interfaced with CBORD in the EMR.
• Coordinate with Food Service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely meals.
• Call patients to inform them of menu changes.
• Attend department in-services to maintain operating standards.
