Job summary

Jefferson Health in Sewell, NJ is seeking a Food Service Associate to provide patient meal service and support various food preparation and service activities. You will follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and ensure timely delivery of meals in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include stocking stations, assisting with tray assembly, and cross-training across food preparation areas. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and adherence to safety guidelines, with a rotating shift

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 6+ months in food service preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff.
• Sets up and stocks assigned station prior to the start of service and for next meal to facilitate meal service.
• May retrieve patient meal trays to ensure sanitary, safe and timely patient meal service.
• Maintains appropriate floor stock according to par levels and records usage.
• Handles food according to proper sanitary and safety guidelines.
