Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to provide a reassuring presence while preparing trays and delivering patient meals, supporting the hospital's meal service and patient care goals.

This full-time role (40 hours/week) runs 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., weekends and holidays required, benefits eligible; Daily Pay Available. The Dietary department supports patients, visitors and staff with varied meal plans, including the "Catering to You" program.

Qualifications

• Performs patient meal service for the department and delivers meals.
• Records intake, calories and applies diet orders.
• Communicates dietary needs and special requests with care team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas and documents meals and calorie intake.
• Assembles meal trays and menus per guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets and meal delivery details with care team.
• Maintains an organized galley and stock.
