Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to support the Dietary department by preparing trays, delivering patient meals, and assisting with menu selections on assigned units.

This part-time role (24 hours weekly) requires direct patient interaction, attention to dietary orders, and collaboration with the nursing team. Evening shift 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekends and holidays included; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• No Experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient meals to assigned areas and document intake as required.
• Assemble meal trays and menus in accordance with diet orders.
• Communicate patient diets and special requests with the care team.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized galley area.
