Responsibilities

• Assemble patient and mobile meal trays following approved diet guidelines and portions.
• Deliver patient meals to rooms and assist in cafeteria service.
• Operate cash register and handle cash as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Assist with catering events and daily specials.
• Prepare snacks, beverages, sandwiches and other patient foods per recipes.
• Stock and replenish food, beverages and condiments in retail and kitchen areas.
• Deliver to nursing units and physician lounges following procedures.
• Monitor food temperatures to ensure safe handling.
