Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Food Service Associate for full-time evening and day shifts. Responsibilities include assembling patient meals, preparing fruits and vegetables, serving hot and cold items, and delivering trays to patient rooms and cafeteria areas.

Qualifications

• Simple math.
• Prior food service experience desirable.
• Experience in a hospital or long-term care facility helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build patient meal trays and portions.
• Prepare fruits and vegetables and serve hot and cold items.
• Deliver patient trays to assigned areas and assist in the Cafeteria or Trayline.
• Dishes, clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; follow HACCP guidelines.
