Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Patient Server to support patient meals at Henry Ford Genesys in Grand Blanc, MI. This role involves tray assembly, meal delivery, and attentive service to patients, with weekend and holiday requirements as needed.

We offer full- and part-time opportunities, with on-the-job training and a supportive team focused on patient comfort and dietary accuracy. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $16.01 per hour, with opportunities to grow and learn in a hospital food

Qualifications

• Previous patient serving experience is preferred but not required.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude toward patients and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up.
• Ensure dietary restrictions are followed and assist with special requests.
• Assemble trays accurately according to patient menu selections.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to meet patients' food needs and diet prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate patient information on the unit and ensure hygiene and safety standards.
