Job summary

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a food service team member for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital to assist patients, staff and customers with meals, trayline, food preparation and cafe service. You will set up stations, follow dietary and retail policies and help ensure a high-quality dining experience.

This full-time role pays $20 per hour with shift differentials, benefits including medical/vision/dental, 401k with employer match, tuition support and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required.
• Reads and understands written and verbal instruction to provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Set up work station and prepare all assigned foods in correct quantities following procedures and quality standards.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, trays, cups and utensils; monitor dish machine temperatures and sanitize kitchen areas.
• Maintain par levels and restock items; rotate stock and check expiration dates.
• Check and record food and equipment temperatures and report discrepancies.
• May deliver meals or nourishments to units; assist in catering or special events; may handle cash register transactions where applicable.
