Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Food Service Team Member at Bartow Med Ctr to deliver meals to patients and guests while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and serving area. You will collaborate with nursing and nutrition staff to ensure timely, accurate meal delivery.

Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer service focus, and basic computer skills for tray tickets and inventory.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Industry experience in food services or customer service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• Assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO.
• Act as liaison between patients, guests, physicians and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
