Job summary

BayCare in Bartow is seeking a Food Services Representative to support patient dining, hosting, cashier duties, and dish/utilities work in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will provide meals to patients and guests, maintain a clean, sanitary food production area, assist with tray assembly and catering events, and liaise with patients, physicians and staff.

Weekend availability and a flexible schedule are required for this PRN role.

Responsibilities

• This position is a Food Services Representative with duties that include Hosting, Cashier, and working in the Dish and Utilities area. This team member will be interacting with patients, patient families, and other team members. This position is fast paced.
• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment. May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
