Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to support patient meal service and related food preparation in a hospital setting. You will set up, service, and break down stations; sanitize dishes; and assist with meal delivery and cash handling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, serves, and breaks down stations as per schedule and procedures.
• Operates dish machine and keeps dishes and utensils clean.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and floors.
• Prepares nourishments and coffee per schedule.
• Operates cash register and processes payments.
• Delivers and stocks patient meals and related food items.
• Meets performance expectations for customer service and teamwork.
• Performs other duties to ensure smooth unit operation.
