Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or related experience.
• 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card and MOAB certification within 30 days.
• Must be reliable and able to work evenings and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and serve food for patients, cafeteria, and catering services.
• Set up and deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, cafeteria, and work areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, and blenders.
• Wash and store dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Stock supplies and transport items as needed.
• Support tray line operations and assist with menu preparation.
• Perform diet office duties including answering phones and processing menus.
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with cross-training and support different assignments as needed.
