You will work as a liaison with the Department of Food & Nutrition and handle tray delivery, nourishments, and stocking duties to support nursing units.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and at least one year of hospital food service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills.
• One year of experience as a Dietary Aide in hospital food service or healthcare setting.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; good communication skills; focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient selections in the hand held computer per diet orders.
• Assist patients in selecting meals and explain basic diet information to patients and families.
• Serve as liaison with the Department of Food & Nutrition to ensure high quality service.
• Provide tray delivery and nourishments to patients; stock nursing unit pantries.
• Address and resolve meal service issues as they arise.
