Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus is seeking a Dietary Aide to enter patient selections into the CBORD Diet Office System, assist patients with meal choices, and explain basic diet information to patients and their families.

You will deliver trays and nourishments, stock unit pantries, and act as a liaison with the Department of Food & Nutrition to ensure top-quality customer service. Shift is Day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills.
• One year of dietary aide experience in hospital food service or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient selections into the CBORD Diet Office System.
• Assist patients with meal selections and explain basic diet information.
• Provide tray delivery and nourishments to patients.
• Stock food supplies for nursing units pantries.
• Act as liaison between patients and the Department of Food & Nutrition.
