Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to greet patients, deliver meals, and support the tray line in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, cleaning duties, and basic office tasks, with opportunities for growth in a patient-centered environment.

Shifts include 6pm-2:30am and 11:30am-8pm, with every other weekend required. Prior healthcare experience is not required; ServSafe certification and a high school diploma are

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States and Virginia state employment requirements
• Preference for High School Diploma or equivalent; ServSafe certification considered an asset
• No formal experience required; hospital or healthcare environment experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient meal trays to patient areas and assist with tray setup
• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining a clean, orderly tray line
• Prepare simple items (salads, desserts, nourishment) and assemble meals for regular and modified diets
• Assist with meal ordering and basic office-related duties
• Drive company vehicle to deliver meals to exterior buildings as needed
