Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking a Diet Clerk in the Food & Nutrition Services department to ensure patients receive meals aligned with physician orders and dietary restrictions. You will visit units to obtain daily meal selections and input preferences in CBORD, helping to organize tray tickets for efficient production and delivery.

Hours vary, with 40 hours per week, and every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visits patients daily to obtain daily meal selections based on physician-ordered diet.
• Enters compliant patient selections in CBORD and organizes tray tickets for production/delivery.
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary staff to adjust trays for changed diet orders.

Education

High School diploma

Associate's degree in related field
