Qualifications

• Ability to pass physical exam may be required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers; able to read and write simple sentences.
• 1 course or 1 mo. exp. in food service; 1 course or 1 mo. experience in public relations or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the key point of contact for patients, their families and unit staff to meet patient food needs during hospitalization.
• Includes taking meal selections, delivering meals/snacks and clarifying food/meal options based on diet orders.
• Must prioritize competing time demands to complete work, juggle menu selections, and manage meal pickup and delivery.
