Job summary

Ohio State University’s University Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Aide to support patient meal needs. You will assist with meal selections, deliver meals and snacks, and clarify diet-based options for patients during their stay.

The role requires coordinating with patients, families and unit staff to balance time-sensitive tasks across a busy food service environment. Regular hours in a hospital setting are provided.

Serves as the key point of contact for patients, their families' and unit staff in to order to meet patient food needs during their hospital stay which includes making meal selections, delivering meals/snacks and clarifying food/meal options available based upon patient's diet order. Staff members must be able to prioritize competing time demands to complete work- juggle menu selections, completed meal pickup and delivery.
