Job summary

Blessing Health in Quincy is seeking Tray Line Assistants to assemble patient trays and assist in the dish room between meal periods. Job Summary

Tray Line Assistants assemble patient trays and assist in the dish room between meal periods.

Responsibilities

• Read printed tickets and ensure corresponding items are on the tray.
• Understand diets and follow instructions related to diet or allergy information.
• Fill bulk stock items, crates of milk, boxes of condiments, trays of food, and boxes of juice.
• Assist with cleaning dishes, washing carts, changing chemicals, and putting dishes away between meals.
• Use an iPad to promote/demote trays through the tray monitor program and communicate with hosts when trays need delivery.
• Ensure quality food and compliance with diets when the checker is not present on the tray line.
• Use abrasive chemicals and operate heavy kitchen appliances/machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and reaching overhead; lift stock ranging in weight from 5 lbs to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
• Provide a high level of satisfaction with presentation and accuracy of patient orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The role requires working many hours standing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and operating a dish room during times between meal periods.
