Job summary

Blessing Health in Pittsfield seeks a Food Service Worker to prepare and mix ingredients for various food items, ensuring quality service under the supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services.

Candidates should possess good verbal communication skills and preferably have a high school diploma or equivalent along with previous experience in a hospital and/or food service setting. Additionally, a current Illinois Sanitation License must be obtained within the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in a hospital and/or food service setting.
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix ingredients for salads, fruit cups, beverages and main entrée.
• Work under supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services.
