Job summary

Salem Radiology Consultants, a premier outpatient imaging provider, seeks a courteous front desk receptionist to greet patients, verify demographics, and enter insurance information. You will manage appointment flow, answer calls, and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient journeys.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a medical setting and familiarity with EPIC; a calm, patient demeanor is essential for our team-focused environment in Salem, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in the medical field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors, ascertains purpose of visit, and directs them to appropriate staff.
• Closely watch appointment schedule and times of patient exams.
• Provide calm demeanor when working with patients at the front desk.
• Obtain patient demographic and insurance information, and accurately enter into the information system.
• Communicate with other departments and schedule appointments as necessary.
• Answers telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Process and organize incoming orders and medical information.
• Collect patient payments when necessary.
