Job summary

Salem Radiology Consultants in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist to greet patients, verify appointments, collect demographics, and coordinate with clinical staff. You will manage phones, process orders, and ensure a smooth patient flow in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in the medical field, HS diploma or GED, and familiarity with EPIC software.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the medical field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors, ascertains purpose of visit, and directs them to appropriate staff.
• Closely watch appointment schedule and times of patient exams.
• Provide calm demeanor when working with patients at the front desk.
• Obtain patient demographic and insurance information and accurately enter into the information system.
• Communicate with other departments and schedule appointments as necessary.
• Answers telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Process and organize incoming orders and medical information.
• Collect patient payments when necessary.
