Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Investigate authorization and payer requirements to support timely patient care.
• Communicate professionally with patients, physician offices, clinics, referral sources, and insurers.
• Obtain and document accurate insurance information in company systems.
• Follow up with payers regarding eligibility, authorizations, claim status, and coverage determinations.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation per policy and compliance rules.
• Track and update departmental reports and workflow logs.
• Identify issues or payer concerns and elevate appropriately.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication.
