• Ability to learn payer requirements and organizational policies.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with patients, families, payers, and coworkers.
• Ability to explain patient balances, payment options, and financial assistance clearly.
• Attention to detail when entering patient, insurance, and financial information.
• Ability to adapt across departments within revenue cycle functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with billing questions, account balances, and financial counseling needs.
• Support front-end revenue cycle activities including patient registration, check-in, and scheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; review authorizations and monitoring.
• Collect applicable patient financial responsibility and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate across Patient Access, Business Office, and Health Information Management as needed.
