Job summary

Cub Pharmacy in Buffalo, MN is seeking a Staff Pharmacist who is people-centric to join our team. As a Pharmacist you will provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, manage pharmacy operations, and ensure accurate prescription dispensing with professional consultation.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians, grad interns and clerks in compliance with federal/state laws and company policies; maintain HIPAA, record-keeping, and participate in clinical programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
• Must pass the NAPLEX.
• Must pass the State MPJE.
• Must hold a valid state license.
• Meets all requirements of and maintains status as a Certified Immunizer.
• Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
• Must complete all required state, federal and company training programs (HIPAA, CDR, I-pledge, etc.).
• Ability to do simple arithmetic, counting and recording.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service through execution of patient care standards.
• Takes steps to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, physician orders and company policies.
• Offers advice and professional consultation in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians, grad interns and clerks in compliance with laws and policies.
• Maintains all state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
• Responds to telephone requests requiring pharmacist expertise.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and dispensing OTC drugs by law.
• Maintains inventory and orders product as necessary.
