Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Valrico, FL is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to support patient care at our Bloomingdale location. You will assist physicians and ARNP/PA, take vitals, document histories, enter data in the EMR, and help maintain a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
• All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician oversight
• Collect patient vitals and medical histories
• Enter data in the electronic health records and perform basic medical procedures
• Support patient experience with top-notch service and care
