The ideal candidate has medical office experience, familiarity with EMR systems, strong communication skills and a commitment to HIPAA compliance.

Qualificações

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• 2+ years’ Medical / Clinical experience required.
• Knowledge of EMR computerized processes and data entry procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and accompany to examination room.
• Register new patients into the EMR with accurate demographic data.
• Check-in/check-out patients in the EMR and handle copays.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and OSHA.
• Sterilize equipment and manage inventory.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and confirm patient details.
