Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant for Health Central Women in Dallas. This full-time position (Monday - Friday, days) offers no nights, no weekends, and no holidays, supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative team.

You will prepare patients for exams, assist with injections and phlebotomy, and help with minor procedures, while maintaining exam rooms and equipment for efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required; acceptable certifications include RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or ABR-OE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment; sterilization.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals
• Answer telephone calls and screen for referrals
