Job summary

BayCare Health System in Mease Dunedin, Florida, is seeking a food services team member focused on delivering outstanding patient and family service. You will provide meals to patients, guests, and staff, maintain a clean and safe food environment, and assist with tray assembly and delivery.

Preferred candidates may have HS Diploma or GED and up to 6 months of food service or customer service experience. Shifts are varied; this is a full-time, on-site role with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic computer skills relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• May prepare food or drinks and assemble/deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas and receive/store deliveries using FIFO.
• Act as liaison between patients, guests, physicians, hospital staff, and Food and Nutrition Services.
