Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, families and visitors with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Daily and routine maintenance of hospital flooring, carpets, tile and other hard surfaces.
• Strip, scrub, refinish and buff hard floor surfaces as needed.
• Shampoo/extract carpets and upholstery, vacuum, sweep, dust and damp mop.
• Stock supplies and remove trash and soiled linen.
• Use appropriate chemicals following safety guidelines; receive training on tasks and tools.
