Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a friendly Food Service Team Member in Wesley Chapel, FL to provide meals to patients, guests and staff. You’ll maintain a clean, safe kitchen and assist with delivering patient trays and catering events.

Key qualities include interpersonal and communication skills, and comfort using computer systems for orders and inventory. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; HS diploma or GED is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required.
• Ability to use computer systems related to food service operations.
• Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers and deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment; daily dish and area cleaning.
• Receive and store food and supplies using FIFO principles; liaise with hospital staff.
