Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking Environmental Service Associates to clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and service areas, providing courteous service to all customers while supporting departmental and organizational processes.

Day shift with as-needed weekly hours, no degree required, and opportunities to contribute to a culture focused on safety, quality, and patient care within a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• No formal degree or diploma required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for age 18+.
• Willing to perform cleaning and basic maintenance duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• 40% Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from systems or verbal direction and completes tasks to support processes.
• 20% Uses equipment properly and ensures cleanliness; notifies area with work orders as needed.
• 10% Stocks carts and areas, including linen distribution, to operating levels.
• 10% Willing to perform other duties, including storeroom maintenance, to meet standards.
• 20% Delivers high levels of customer service to patients and all customers.
