Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to clean and maintain patient rooms, public and service areas. This role requires serving customers with cleanliness and care, following established tasks and assignments across the hospital environment.

The position operates Sundays and Mondays in the evening, totaling 16 hours per week. No degree is required, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred for applicants 18 and over.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18.
• Evening shift and weekend availability as per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, public areas and service areas as assigned.
• Follow equipment usage and safety protocols; notify maintenance through work orders if needed.
• Keep assigned carts stocked and maintain linen distribution as part of stocking duties.
• Complete paperwork to monitor departmental statistics and service requests.
• Provide high level customer service to patients and other customers throughout the OhioHealth organization.
