Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a wonderful experience.
• Advise patients on suitable cannabis products based on needs, budgets, and reactions to strains.
• Stay informed on new products and market trends.
• Process payments using the POS system.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Educate patients on safe use of products.
• Weigh, package, and label products as required.
• Verify age and credentials of customers entering the dispensary.
• Take inventory and ensure sales floor is stocked.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and ensure compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
