Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with preferred prior hospital unit experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in patient records, and effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior Unit Associate experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones promptly and politely while directing customers and staff as needed.
• Obtains patient information and assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates documentation and patient education.
• Troubleshoots unit computer systems and assists with non-clinical IT tasks for nursing staff.
